ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Spend 3 days cycling in Sicily on guided routes. (5/6 days including travel days)
Whether you're seeking coastal vistas, mountainous terrain, or cultural experiences, cycling in Sicily offers something for every type of rider. With its stunning landscapes, rich history, and mouthwatering cuisine.
The coastal roads offer relatively flat terrain, making them suitable for cyclists of all levels.
Not about speed, this is about getting sunny miles into the legs (Approx. 70/100 miles per day), this relaxing cycle is also about the stunning surroundings, we will ride for approx. two hours before stopping for either coffee or lunch and enjoy a relaxing late afternoon followed by an evening of food and wine.
We will stay in the same hotel for the whole trip.
APPROXIMATE ITINERARY
THE FOLLOWING IS AN APPROXIMATION OF OUR DAYS IN THE SADDLE
- Day 1: Arrive in Sicily (Prepare for the next day)
(Wednesday 2nd July). - Day 2: Ride to km / m
(Thursday 3rd July). - Day 3: Ride to km / m
(Friday 4th July). - Day 4: Ride to km / m
(Saturday 5th July). - Day 5: Ride to km / m
(Sunday 6th July). - Day 6: Onward travel.
(Monday 7th July)
EXPERIENCE DETAILS
INCLUDED
- 5 Nights’ accommodation in the same hotel.
- 6 Breakfasts.
- 4 full days of guided routes (We ride with you).
- Bike hire for the trip. (Full carbon bikes, + £70 for Di 2)(Reduced price by £100 if you bring your own bike).
- Transfers from the airport to the Hotel and return to the airport.
- Travel to Sicily and from Sicily back home. (We will arrange a transfer from the airport only).
- Lunches, Snacks or Drinks.
- Travel Insurance.
- Personal Equipment.
- Taxi transfers or public transport should you need to miss part of the ride.

TRIP COSTS
The total cost of the trip is £895.00 .
The initial payment through this webpage is a deposit of £200 (Plus the booking fee) this will then secure your place.
Further payments are due in staged intervals, or you can pay the balance in full.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
It is your responsibility to ensure you are at the start location for this experience.
This is in Sicily, including with your bike (If you Bring your own), Velo europe do not organize your travel from your home destination to the start location, although we can assist with transfers from Faro airport to The Hotel if required, (All transfers are subject to flight times).
If there is a need to book flights, ferries or additional travel please contact us BEFORE you do this, the experiences have a limited number of entrants needed for the experience to take place, we will not be held responsible for any additional costs incurred booking these addition travel arrangements.
