ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

Spend 4 days cycling in Majorca on guided routes. (5/6 days including travel days)

This experience will be four days of amazing cycling, we will enjoy cycling through lush orange orchards and fertile vineyards that produce world-famous wines, as well as the spectacular countryside that is Mallorca (Majorca).

This CYCLING PLUS EXPERIENCE will take place in the picturesque location in the North of the island known for its natural beauty and cultural richness.

Not about speed, this is about getting cycling miles into the legs (Approx. 70/120 km per day), this relaxing cycle is also about the stunning surroundings, we will ride for approx. two hours before stopping for either coffee or lunch and enjoy a relaxing late afternoon followed by an evening of food and wine.

We will stay in the same hotel for the whole trip, where there is a pool and spa facilities (All included in the cost of the trip), and Breakfast and evening meal (3 course) are also included in the cost as is a Hire bike (Full carbon).

THE SPA, Treat yourself to a relaxing experience in this space ready for you to enjoy and disconnect. The wellness area includes multiple services: thermal water circuit, 2 saunas one of them for exclusive nudist use, steam room and foot bath. There is also a great team of professionals who will offer you exclusive beauty and relaxation treatments.

APPROXIMATE ITINERARY

THE FOLLOWING IS AN APPROXIMATION OF OUR DAYS IN THE SADDLE
  • DAY 1 - 11th JUNE
    ARRIVAL DAY 11th JUNE

    Transfer to the hotel, and then the day is yours until approx. 1800, we will have an informal briefing and then collect our bikes at approx. 1830.
    Other than the briefing the day is yours including the evening, the evening meal is at 1900 (All meals are included in the experience).

    We will meet at 0845 the following Morning for the start of our first day's ride.

  • DAY 2 - 12th JUNE
    day 2 - 104 km / 702 m

    Ride to Santa Magdalena returning via Petra

    Our first days riding is not overly testing with just 700m of climbing for the whole day.

    Its a welcome to Majorca kind of day, just looking at how stunning a place Majorca really is, we will find some great coffee stops on route and have Lunch in Santa Magdalena.

    The ride back to our hotel is a gentle cruise downhill (for the most part), we can again stop for coffee if required or push on back to the hotel for some free time in the spa (fee payable) or you can simply realx in the sun.

  • DAY 3 - 13th JUNE

    Ride to Cap D Formetor (The lighthouse)

    Today our ride will head for Cap D Formentor (AKA The Lighthouse)

    Today is a relaxed affair (Dependant on your flight times) We will arrange transfers back to the airport so that you can return home, (SUBJECT TO OUR OWN FLIGHTS).

  • 5 Nights’ accommodation in the same hotel.
  • 5 Breakfasts.
  • 5 Evening meals (3 courses) (Drinks excluded).
  • Bike hire for the trip. (Full carbon bikes, + £75 for Di 2)(Only if Di2 is available).
  • 4 full days of guided routes (We ride with you).
  • Transfers from Palma airport to the Hotel, but not the return home.

  • Travel to Majorca and from Majorca back home. (We will arrange a transfer from Palma airport only).
  • Lunches, Snacks or Drinks.
  • Travel Insurance.
  • Personal Equipment.
  • Taxi transfers or public transport should you need to miss part of the ride.

The total cost of the trip is £1145.00 .

The initial payment through this webpage is a deposit of £200 (Plus the booking fee) this will then secure your place.

Further payments are due in staged intervals, or you can pay the balance in full.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

It is your responsibility to ensure you are at the start location for this experience.

This is in Majorca, including with your bike (if you bring your own), Velo europe do not organize your travel from your home destination to the start location, although we can assist with transfers from Palma airport to The Hotel if required, (All transfers are subject to flight times).

If there is a need to book flights, ferries or additional travel please contact us BEFORE you do this, the experiences have a limited number of entrants needed for the experience to take place, we will not be held responsible for any additional costs incurred booking these addition travel arrangements.
