F.A.Q

Holla info@veloeurope.co.uk if you've got more questions and we'll do our best to answer.

If it’s an experience specific question, please look at the experience page first as everything you need to know is there.

  • I want to fundraise but I'm not sure what to do. How can I get involved?

Pick a charity and let them know you want to take part in the experience, then enter and start fundraising, it’s as simple as that.

  • I'm not sure who to fundraise for?

Don’t know which charity to support, send us an email and we will put you in touch with some of our chosen charities.

  • How do I raise money for charity?

There are so many ways to fundraise, including setting up donation pages, holding cake sales, collections, raffles or by holding small events that you can sell tickets to.
Once signed up your chosen charity can help with many more ideas.

  • What happens if I don't reach my minimum target?

If you feel you won't be able to meet your fundraising pledge through donations from friends and family, then organising a local event such as a supermarket collection, cake sale or raffle, can all be great ways to give your fundraising a final boost.
The charity are also happy to accept personal donations, should you wish to pay the sponsorship yourself – but this is not, in any way, mandatory.

  • What bike can i ride at your experiences?

The routes for the experiences are sometimes fairly complex so we request you only ride a Road bike or Pedal assist bike; we also request you use SPD type pedals.

  • Can i Hire a bike rather than bring my own?

In most locations you can hire a bike if you don't want to strip your own, this is seperate to the trip but we can assist with collection, just ask.

  • Can i change experiences?

Changing experiences is possible for a limited amount of time but lots of things are organized and arranged based on the number or participants per experience, once things have been booked unless you get someone to replace you, you will need to remain on your entered experience.

  • Do i have to have a Helmet?

Yes, Helmets are mandatory, No Helmet = No ride, Helmets must comply with latest safety standards.

  • Why don’t you have a phone number?

We are not always in the office. 95% of our time is spent preparing for events. The best way to contact us is via email at info@veloeurope.co.uk

  • Why do you charge an Admin fee?
