DESCRIPTION

Spend 4 days cycling in Majorca on guided routes. (5/6 days including travel days) NEW ROUTES FOR 2025 !!!
This experience will be four days of amazing cycling, we will enjoy cycling through lush orange orchards and fertile vineyards that produce world-famous wines, as well as the spectacular countryside that is Mallorca (Majorca).

This experience is slightly different to our March event, see Pace below. We will ride (Approx. 70/100 km per day), this experience is also about the stunning surroundings, we will ride for approx. two hours before stopping for either coffee or lunch and enjoy a relaxing late afternoon followed by an evening of food and wine.

The pace of this event is between 20km and 24km per hour (Average over the whole day), this means we will ride at a stead pace and where the road conditions permit we will endeavour to increase the speed and ride accordingly, (Take into account on hills the speed will be reduced.)

We will stay in the same hotel for the whole trip, where there is a pool and spa facilities (Extra fee payable for the spa), and Breakfast and evening meal (3 course) are included in the cost as is a Hire bike (Full carbon).

There are multiple opportunities to either walk to Palma (6km) or Grab the Bus ( 2 euros), its a vibrant city full or culture.

ITINERARY

Transfer to the hotel, and then the day is yours until approx. 1700, we will have an informal briefing and then collect our bikes at approx. 1730. Other than the briefing the day is yours including the evening, the evening meal is at 1900 (All meals are included in the experience).
We will meet at 0845 the following Morning for the start of our first day's ride.

Our first days riding is not overly testing with just over 700m of climbing for the whole day. The idea of the first day is to ensure the bikes fit correctly and to give you a sense of what riding in Majorca is about, it's also a good opportunity to have a chat with new friends.
The route offers a scenic ride through some of Mallorca's most beautiful landscapes, combining coastal views, rural countryside, and the mountainous terrain of the Serra de Tramuntana.

TBC

The route offers a blend of coastal scenery and rolling countryside, making it a pleasant ride through Mallorca's southeastern region. After coffee in SA RAPITA the ride introduces some mild rolling hills but is generally quite manageable. We’ll cycle through rural areas dotted with farmlands, almond trees, and small villages.
After brunch / lunch in LUCAMAJOR the landscape opens up, offering us views of the town and the surrounding countryside.

Our ride today offers a route that offers a mix of urban and rural scenery, coastal views, and some moderate climbs. After a Steady start on the cycle path to PALMA, we head for CALVIA, on route the ride becomes more scenic with rolling hills and views of the surrounding mountains.
After brunch the route back to the Hotel is a steady ride, mostly flat, we will stop in PALMA for a final coffee and a piece of cake.

Today is a relaxed affair (Dependant on your flight times) We will arrange transfers back to the airport so that you can return home, (SUBJECT TO OUR OWN FLIGHTS).
